Bridges Overview
Replace your missing teeth.
If you are missing teeth or need an extraction and want to replace the tooth, a bridge may be an option for restoration. If the teeth are already missing, preparation can be made, and a temporary bridge will be placed. In this case, the bridge can usually be seated within 2 weeks.
If the tooth needs to be extracted, an additional 3 to 4 weeks will be needed for healing.
What to Expect
Get a glimpse of what your visit will be like.
- On your first visit, preparation is made, and a temporary bridge is placed. If you need an extraction, that is performed at this time.
- After 2 weeks, if no extraction was performed, the bridge will be seated. If an extraction occurred, 3 to 4 weeks of additional healing will be required.
